Apple approves and released on Apple App Store

As you might have heard Apple have approved the Opera Mini App for the Iphone. To be honest I thought it was a no ho-per as Opera operates to mimic some of the Apple product functionalities. So far the new Browser App seems to be a hit with the users, offering faster browsing. Though as it is a first release I see a few improvements which needs to be made. For instance the Apple version seems like a port rather than an individual ipod / iphone product. As some functionality is mainly aimed at the smart phone market.

Apart from that it seems like a solid product which is quite fast and did I also mention it was free? To find this app you might have to search for it as in my whats new section of itunes did not display it as a newly released app as I think Apple does not want to advertise it to much.

Opera have released a new version of its browser, while not classed a full version step it is still a big step on the performance of the Opera browser. Opera is a seriously misjudged web browser. I have been using the free browser for years since my friend introduced me to it. Now with the new Javascript tendering engine put it on performance on bar or better than Chrome.

If you want a browser which has just about everything build into it, chat, email, newsgroups, RSS then Opera is a worthy checkover. Even my girlfriend uses it.
